At Langley Christian School, we are deeply committed to cultivating an environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Our mission is to empower every learner to find their voice, embrace their unique identity in Christ, and to try things that are hard to do.

Speech Fest has become an event that beautifully showcases the courage, creativity, and conviction of our students. Whether in addressing a classroom, a panel of judges, or a gymnasium filled with peers and parents, our students boldly shared their ideas, passions, and stories.
This year’s Speech Fest wasn’t just about public speaking; it was about growing into confident individuals who speak into their world with clarity and compassion. As Head of Schools, Adam Woelders shared, “Communication skills, and the ability to relate to others has become even more important in an age of increasing artificial intelligence use.” These learning experiences reflect our commitment to helping students live out core values of Connect, Thrive, and Equip.
At LCS, we believe that every child is uniquely gifted by God and called to make a difference.
As our students learn to express themselves with wisdom and clarity, we are reminded of the power of voice and the importance of nurturing young people who speak truth with grace-filled integrity and live with purpose for God’s glory.
