Minds-on core courses anchored in Biblical thinking, hands-on STEM elective courses (sciences, technology, engineering, media, arts, mathematics) and Advanced Placement courses, taught within a vibrant student-life culture – we are a high school where all learners can thrive in an important season of their lives.

HIGH PERFORMANCE P.E.
To support our Lightning Athletics program, and to provide the best possible training environment, we offer male and female high performance physical education courses which provide training in mindset, nutrition and weight training.
STEM ELECTIVES
We offer quality STEM electives including graphic design, music production, trades-technology, robotics, and computers. Our course offerings provide options for a diverse range of students from the hands-on learner to the academically motivated.
STUDENT LIFE
Our high school is organized differently than most. At roughly 400 students we are a perfect size, and provide student-culture building experiences that build courage, connection and faith.
BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS
Students take a Biblical studies course as a foundation of our high school program. All of our teachers challenge our students to think deeply about culture, values, identity, worldview and how to think competently from a Biblically-informed perspective.
ARTS & MUSIC
Students can enrol in our music courses including instrumental music, jazz band, and musical theatre. We also offer strong courses in visual arts, graphic arts, and print & design. LCS hosts non-enrolled worship music and A/V technology teams as well.
LEARNING IN COMMUNITY
As a school of just over 400 students, we are perfectly sized to provide connection and community. Small enough for intimate class sizes where everyone is known, yet big enough to offer great facilities, and engaging programs. We will provide your young adult with what they need to confidently step out into the world beyond high school.
