This year’s group of golfers

Throughout the day, players enjoyed fun on-course games, delicious food, and opportunities to connect with both old friends and new. The laughter, stories, and spirit of generosity reminded us that this event is about much more than golf — it’s about celebrating the relationships and shared vision that strengthen our school community. Together, we are building a school where students know God, love others, and live purposefully.

“This tournament was an incredible day of connection with the LCS community on the common goal of raising money to accomplish integral steps to positively impact current and future generations! It was a fun-filled day from start to finish. A truly inspiring community!”

This year also marked a milestone in the history of the tournament. Now in its 22nd year, we witnessed our very first hole-in-one! Golfer Chris Johnstone not only claimed the $10,000 prize but, with remarkable generosity, chose to donate half of it back to LCS. His gift reflected the heart of this tournament – community members stepping forward to bless students and ensure a strong future for our school.

An Evening of Celebration and Generosity

The sense of celebration continued into the evening. Guests gathered for a delicious dinner, an update on the new middle school project, and an opportunity to give generously. In lieu of a traditional auction, participants purchased mystery balloons filled with prizes — everything from gas gift cards and fitness watches to hockey tickets and even a PlayStation 5. The excitement and goodwill in the room reflected the same spirit of generosity seen on the course earlier in the day.

“This tournament is a great mix of fun, competition and community building. I’m always amazed at how much money is raised for the school at this event. LCS has been blessed with a generous, supportive community.”
