By embedding a learner profile focused on faith practices and service-oriented values, in addition to providing strong academic standards, Christian school graduates more frequently emerge from school with a greater sense of purpose.

Move over, all you birds and cats out there! LCS has a mascot with a mission. Meet Bolt, the legendary water buffalo struck by lightning, back to encourage students, build school spirit, and remind us that true strength comes from serving others and standing firm in faith. Free the Bolt to unleash the Lightning to let the Light shine!

Led by experienced leaders, including Chris Seppelt our Service Learning Coordinator, the trip was a powerful journey of faith, reflection, and service, with moments that truly “echoed the love of Jesus.” Dive into their inspiring story of growth, learning, and community impact.

This summer, CAMP LCS hosted over 400 campers, 80 middle/high school volunteers, and provided summer employment for over 20 high school staff.

If Lightning Athletics serves our mission as a distinctively Christian school, the fruit we will see is coaches, parents, teachers and students who know what it means to “run with perseverance” toward God’s finish line and who disciple one another in “rightly ordered loves.”
