This year’s LCS Speech Fest was another outstanding display of our students’ talents. A larger field of speakers than previous years entered the competition and delivered near perfect speeches on a range of fascinating topics and issues. Please be sure to thank our amazing Teacher-Librarians Melissa Friesen and Janet VanHemert who collaborate on this making this event happen every year. We are hoping in the future to expand the event and potentially compete against students from other schools in the region. This year we had almost 100 entries between middle school and high school.
