CAMP LCS hopes to deliver the best summer experience for Kindergarten-Grade 5 youth in the local community. Both current LCS families and families in the community are welcome. Our focus is to create a “camp” experience with outstanding High School student leaders and youth leaders that foster belonging and community through age-specific activities and programs.

WHO ARE WE?
CAMP LCS is a Christian learning community dedicated to creating the “Best Summer Ever” for Kindergarten-Grade 5 students. We are looking for leaders to mentor students and foster a safe, fun environment where campers can experience God’s love in a real way.

Cabin Leader
YOUR ROLE
- Lead: Supervise and care for a specific group of students throughout the day
- Engage: Help run games, activities, and programming
- Connect: Write encouragement cards for campers weekly and at Christmas
KEY DATES & COMMITMENT Applicants must be available for ALL the following:
- Prep: After-school meetings (April–June)
- Staff Training Weekend: May 29–31 (Weekend)
- Summer Day Camps: June 27 (Setup) + June 29–July 17 (3 Weeks of Camp)
- NYC Trip: July 18–25 (Note: Dates are reserved for the team, but selection for the trip is not guaranteed)
ELIGIBILITY & PERKS
- Education: Grade 10–12 (Grade 9s eligible if they have volunteered for 3 summers).
- Compensation: Competitive pay
- Growth: Mentorship from CAMP LCS Director, Cody Friesen & Coordinator, Paige Witt
- Community: Work within a strong, supportive learning community with like-minded students

Media Coordinator
YOUR ROLE
- Capture: Film and photograph all aspects of CAMP LCS daily
- Create: Edit and produce a weekly highlight video and a final “End of Summer” promo video
- Share: Manage social media accounts to engage parents and promote camp
- Equip: Must provide your own camera and editing equipment/software to perform these tasks
KEY DATES & COMMITMENT Applicants must be available for ALL the following:
- Spring Break Prep & Set Up: March 14
- Spring Breakout Camp: March 16-20
- Prep: After-school meetings (April–June)
- Staff Training Weekend: May 29–31 (Weekend)
- Summer Day Camps: June 27 (Setup) + June 29–July 17 (3 Weeks of Camp).

YOUR ROLE
- Plan: Design and prepare all activities, including crafts, sports, water games, and wide games.
- Lead: Facilitate high-energy games and oversee activity stations
- Manage: Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and ready for every session
- The Vibe: Any and all things “FUN” at CAMP LCS run through you!

High School Jr. Staff (currently in Grades 8-11) – Volunteer
High School Jr. Staff (currently in Grades 8-11)
Make a difference this summer by volunteering as a Junior Staff member at CAMP LCS! In this role, you will partner with a Senior Staff Cabin Leader to help lead a cabin and daily activities, including sports and crafts.
We are looking for students ready to model what it looks like to have safe, energetic fun while keeping the focus on our main goal: showing God’s love to every single camper.
