One grade four student suggested that it should stand for “artists doing stuff together”. That just about sums it all up! It actually stands for “applied design skills and technology”. Once a week, every K-5 student has ADST with Mr. Van Hemert. Students have been doing hands-on activities to learn about being a Community Builder within a group, working as a team, the design process, offline coding, and more! Ask your child about what they have been doing in ADST.
