The high school has partnered with two pastors from Village Church this year: Chris de Moyne and Andrew Shields.
We are excited that these two dynamic leaders are working with the high school throughout the year to bring our chapel messages to life for students. Each month, one of these pastors focuses on an idea, a person or an event from Mark 12, and unpacks the core message of our theme verse this year: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength… Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Chapels are an important part of how your child’s school is intentional about ensuring we participate together in a distinctively Christian educational experience at LCS. In chapels students learn what it looks like to be Purposefully Disciplined and Engaged and Faithful. One of the ways our school helps students thrive is by creating opportunities in chapel for students to receive discipleship and belong to a community of faith rooted in the instruction of Jesus Christ.
We are thankful for all that we are learning this year as Chris and Andrew share their hearts and knowledge with our students.
