Week 2 of Summer Learning Programs is coming to a close. Highlights from this week are reading with our buddies, adventuring in the rainforest/outdoor preschool with our K-Grade 1 group, making slime with our Grades 2-4 group, and doing paper mache with our Grades 5-7 group. We are excited about next week as we have 44 students registered including some students from the wider community. Staff is ready to finish our July weeks strong!
Our Grade 8 Booster Sessions are finishing up this week and we have already received some great feedback from Staff, Students and Parents. We have sent a survey for parents to complete to get specific feedback from them to help as we build this program for years to come. All the credit goes to Elisha Neufeld. She has planned and taught excellent material that is grade specific and helpful for this group of students. We have also hit the halfway point of the Math 9 Summer Course this week and overall students are excelling with the accelerated pace.
