The sun was out (mostly) and the air was filled with sounds of laughter, screams of happiness and carnival games bells as the LCS community was able to come together to celebrate the end of another year of school on June 7. We are so thankful that we could all gather together this year to appreciate the families, the teachers and the staff of Langley Christian School. Our estimates are that somewhere between 1100 and 1300 people came out.
Our new PAC did an amazing job coordinating the event, bringing in activities for all ages to enjoy. It was a new take on an old tradition that we are so happy to see return. The hours and days they spent organizing for this evening cannot be appreciated enough. The candy game was a great success, thank you to all those who donated to it. The inflatable games and activities brought so much joy and excitement to all those who participated. The food trucks provided a delicious array of dinner selections that families could enjoy on the picnic tables while listening to our high school jazz bands.
A huge thank you to the over 60+ volunteers who came out to support this evening. It could not have happened without you! Thank you to all of those who came out and spent their evening with us; we hope you had a great time. What an amazing, challenging, and rewarding year the 2021/2022 school year has been and the PAC did such a wonderful job in helping us celebrate the end of this year and makes us look forward to all that is in store for the 2022/2023 year. Have a wonderful and restful summer.
