The basis for our curriculum hinges on these beliefs: God is Sovereign, the Bible in the infallible word of God and Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our only means of salvation. These beliefs affect the core of our curriculum.
A biblical worldview is not merely ‘added’ to our courses but rather, it is at the heart of the planning of every subject, unit, and lesson. It our desire for students to see that all areas of life belong to God, whether that be, Language Arts, Science, Socials, Math, PE, French, Music, Art, etc.
We believe that learning should be relevant; we strive to have students actively engaged in meaningful learning that connect subject areas, faith and their own personal experience. We encourage students to try new skills to broaden their perspective and explore new gifts and abilities. Students are given opportunities to explore God’s world around them and also to learn how to care for the world that God has entrusted to us.
During a time when students are developing academically, socially, spiritually and physically, it is our prayer that in all they do, they strive to use their gifts and abilities in a way that brings glory to God.
