Elementary School
ABA Special Education Assistant
Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a *full-time ABA Special Education* *Assistant *for the 2013-2014 school year.
Applicants for this position will:
- Have completed their Educational Assistant Certificate Program(or equivalent)
- Have specific training and experience in ABA therapy and intervention (beyond the introductory course offered as part of the SETA program)
- Have experience in supporting students with special needs, preferably in a school setting
This position involves working with 1 student in a largely 1-1 program, implementing IEP goals and programs developed by the Behavioural Consultant
and school personnel. The student requires personal care for toileting and safety. Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention is an asset.
